Donor privacy

If you give to WMK or join the mailing list, here is exactly what happens to your details.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share donor details

Not with other charities, not with mailing-list brokers, not with anyone. There is no exception to this and no opt-out to hunt for, because there is nothing to opt out of. Supporter details exist to let the ministry thank you and keep you informed, and for nothing else.

The mailing list

If you sign up for updates, we store your email address and the page you signed up from. That is the whole record. It is held in Loops, an email service used to send the ministry’s updates, in an account kept separate from any other organisation’s.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you immediately. You can also ask to be removed by writing to the address below, and you do not have to explain why.

Giving

This website cannot currently take an online donation. No payment provider is connected to it, so no card details, bank details, or payment information of any kind are collected, stored, or transmitted by this site.

People who want to give right now do so by contacting the ministry directly — see the giving page. In that case your details are held by the ministry, not by this website, and this policy describes only the website’s part.

When online giving is set up, this page will be updated to name the provider and describe exactly what it passes on, before the first gift is taken.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It records the usual things — approximate location, browser, which page you came from — and it is not linked to your name, your email address, or any gift you make. There are no advertising trackers on this site, and no advertising of any kind.

Seeing or deleting what we hold

You can ask what the ministry holds about you and ask for it to be deleted. Write to the address below. Deletion is done on request without argument, and the only reason a record would be retained is if a gift has to be kept on file for the ministry’s own accounting.
